Observed annually in the first week of February, World Interfaith Day was designated by the General Assembly in 2010 for the purpose of creating mutual understanding and interreligious dialogue that constitute important dimensions of cultural peace and universal cohesion to promote harmony between all people irrespective of their beliefs.
