EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Auckland Pride Festival is the largest of the Pride Festivals in Aotearoa New Zealand. The festival debuted in 2013 and has steadily grown since, featuring more than 200 events in its 2021 arts, performance, and cultural events programme, and over 9,000 people taking part in the Pride March. 

With its vision of an equitable Aotearoa where Takatāpui and Rainbow Communities are liberated, thriving, and connected, and its mission to empower, celebrate, and serve Tāmaki Makaurau's Takatāpui and Rainbow Communities through events, creativity, and advocacy, Auckland Pride is set to continue delivering festivals more invigorating and defiant than ever before.
